Truck Etape, VINCI Concessions subsidiary, specialised in the realisation and operation of Secure Truck Parks, opened in July of 2006 a first site in Béziers (A9 exit 36). Truck Etape Valenciennes (200 places of secure parking) A2 exit 20 opened its doors to the public the 13th of May 2008.

The site of Valenciennes completes the offer of services of VINCI Concessions relative to Secure Truck Parks. After the Truck Etape in Béziers (350 places on the A9 exit 36 Béziers Ouest) and Communay (125 places on the A46, Bypass east of Lyon).

A Truck Etape is a secure and calm place for truck drivers, a site where to live and a place where facilities can be found, when the goal of Truck Etape is to offer in the same place all the amenities expected and necessary to the truck drivers and the haulers

The Truck Etape Secure Truck Parks offer security for the goods and the persons and favor the road security while they allow truck drivers to recover from their tiredness with a safe and sound rest. Truck Etape contribute to the economic development of a region around the facilities to the truck drivers (30 jobs over 20 years).
The Truck Parks are eco-friendly because they limit risks caused by environmental pollution (Dangerous goods transport, refrigerated transport,…) many collective advantages that Europe, the Government and Communities would be able to promote thru aids to the development of such projects.
